Hello ALL! Sorry for the absence this weekend with no Money Makin' Picks or Community Poll, but I am back and ready for this week. Think of it as Week 3 was kind of our BYE week! Let's take a look at my Week 3 Power Rankings! Enjoy!
Week 3 Power Rankings
1. Green Bay Packers (3-0) (1)
Another masterful performance by Rodgers on Monday night. 7 sacks was also very nice to see from this defense.
2. New England Patriots (3-0) (2)
Brady and the Patriots continue to be clicking on all cylinders right now. They wont be tested until Week 6 when they travel to Indy.
3. Denver Broncos (3-0) (3)
The Broncos haven’t been dominating in any of their wins, but they are 3-0. They already have a tight hold on the division through three weeks.
4. Arizona Cardinals (3-0) (4)
They have won all three of their games in blow out fashion, but the teams they have beat are a combined 1-8. Fitzgerald and Palmer look very solid right now. They don’t play a team with a winning record or with their starting QB until Week 10.
5. Cincinnati Bengals (3-0) (7)
Very impressive win @BAL and Andy Dalton is playing pretty well right now. I still don’t believe they are Super Bowl contenders but they are the heavy favorites to win the AFC North with Big Ben hurt.
6. Seattle Seahawks (1-2) (6)
A victory against the Bears at home is not very telling of how good this team is this season. They have another should-be easy game with the Lions coming to Seattle on Monday.
7. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1) (5)
Biggest story of the weekend is Big Ben’s injury. Their eyes need to be on the Wild Card and hoping Vick can keep them afloat.
8. Buffalo Bills (2-1) (10)
The Bills have scored 100 points through 3 games. This “defensive team” has some serious offensive fire power.
9. Atlanta Falcons (3-0) (14)
One of the most shocking successful teams so far this season. Not only are they 3-0, but there next 7 games are against teams that are currently below .500.
10. Indianapolis Colts (1-2) (13)
They looked dead in the water going into the fourth quarter, but they found a way to pull out their first win and with that are now tied atop the division. This division is terrible and you have to think this team gets it together.
11. Dallas Cowboys (2-1) (8)
They lost their first game with Weeden, and I don’t see it getting much better. They do get the Saints this week, but the schedule after that is rough.
12. Carolina Panthers (3-0) (16)
Yes they are 3-0, but how good are they? They have beat the Texans, Jags, and Saints so far this season. They will be tested soon as they have the Seahawks, Eagles, Colts and Packers after this week against the Buccs.
13. Kansas City Chiefs (1-2) (9)
I think this team has the talent to be a playoff team, but Alex Smith is just way too conservative.
14. New York Jets (2-1) (15)
Just when you think they are good, then Fitzpatrick goes out and plays like the Fitzpatrick we are used to. Not sure if they are better than a .500 team because of their QB.
15. Minnesota Vikings (2-1) (20)
I am pretty shocked that the Vikings are now 2-1, but they are just one game back of the Packers in the division.
16. San Diego Chargers (1-2) (12)
What a shit-show of a performance from the Chargers in Minnesota. They have two winnable games coming up against the Browns and Steelers at home.
17. New York Giants (1-2) (21)
Even though they blew the first two games of the season, they are just one game back of the Cowboys. Manning has yet to throw an INT this season.
18. Philadelphia Eagles (1-2) (22)
Eagles got themselves a nice road win against the Jets, but their offense still has some holes.
19. Tennessee Titans (1-2) (23)
They should have beat the Colts, but the young team collapsed in the 4th quarter and then couldn’t execute on the 2 point conversion.
20. St. Louis Rams (1-2) (18)
After a solid win to open this season, this team has looked rather bad. They had a golden opportunity to beat the Steelers without Big Ben, but they couldn’t score a single TD.
21. Oakland Raiders (2-1) (27)
Pretty shocking they are 2-1, but they should be 3-1 as they play the Bears this weekend.
22. Baltimore Ravens (0-3) (11)
This is the biggest disappointment in the NFL. If they do not win on Thursday in Pittsburgh, their season is done.
23. Miami Dolphins (1-2) (17)
Their only win is against Washington, and that wasn’t even impressive. Philbin could be fired rather soon.
24. San Francisco 49ers (1-2) (19)
They have been just torched the last two weeks, and Kaepernick isn’t an elite QB. I thought they would win 7 or 8 games this season, but that will be pretty tough.
25. Houston Texans (1-2) (30)
They got a win but it was against the Buccaneers. I still don’t think they will win many games this season, but as they sit now they are currently tied for the lead in the AFC South.
26. Detroit Lions (0-3) (24)
This one is getting real ugly, and now they get to go to Seattle on Monday Night Football. After that? A game against the undefeated Cardinals.
27. Washington Redskins (1-2) (25)
Kirk Cousins is not the answer. This team is going nowhere fast.
28. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-2) (28)
Winston is going through the growing pains of a rookie QB, but he hasn’t looked awful. This isn’t their year to win the NFC South, but there is hope for the future.
29. Cleveland Browns (1-2) (26)
The Browns aren’t going to make the playoffs or win 8 games so why not just start Manziel?
30. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2) (29)
That was just cruel for the NFL to send the Jags to Foxboro. Now they get to travel to Indy where they haven’t won since Luck was drafted.
31. New Orleans Saints (0-3) (31)
They have the Cowboys, Eagles, Falcons, Colts and Giants for their next 5 games. They could very easily be 0-8.
32. Chicago Bears (0-3) (32)
They are the front-runner for the #1 pick in 2016. If they can’t beat the Raiders at home this week, they might not be competitive in another game until December.
