Week 10 NFL Power Rankings!
1. New England Patriots (8-0) (1)
And they just keep on rollin’! I feel bad for Lewis, but from a football perspective we’ve seen the Patriots bounce back from bigger injuries than this.
2. Cincinnati Bengals (8-0) (3)
Eifert is a beast and this team is really playing well. After what should be an easy win on MNF, they get a tough test on a short week
3. Carolina Panthers (8-0) (4)
They dominated the Packers for 3 quarters of the game on Sunday. They now have a 2 game lead on everyone in the NFC.
4. Denver Broncos (7-1) (2)
Not shocked at all they lost in Indy this weekend. Colts have played the Broncos really well recently, and DEN was coming off a huge game against GB. They still have a 3 game lead on the division.
5. Arizona Cardinals (6-2) (6)
Two very big games coming up for Arizona as they go to SEA this weekend and then host Cincy. They could lose their lead on this division very easily.
6. Green Bay Packers (6-2) (5)
7 uncompetitive quarters in a row have Packer fans worried, but all in all they lost to two undefeated teams on the road. I’m not worried about this team yet.
7. Minnesota Vikings (6-2) (7)
Lots of people picked this team to surprise in the preseason and I didn’t agree at all, but now I am the one looking bad. That being said, let’s just see what their record is after @OAK, GB, @ATL, SEA, @ARI for their next 5 games.
8. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-4) (11)
Just one injury after another for this team. They are one of the teams in the mess of 5 teams chasing two wild card spots in the AFC.
9. Seattle Seahawks (4-4) (10)
Huge game in division as they host ARI. I hate to say it, but I believe they win this one and then find themselves just 1 game back after a very shaky start to the season.
10. New York Jets (5-3) (13)
Ivory’s yards per carry have been awful recently but they got the win against Jacksonville. Huge game in the AFC as they host Buffalo this Thursday Night.
11. Atlanta Falcons (6-3) (8)
Atlanta has really fallen back to the pack. They now have lost 3 of their last 4 games to bad teams, with the only win a 10-7 victory over Tennessee. I’m starting to wonder if this team might miss the playoffs.
12. New York Giants (5-4) (14)
A win they had to have if they want to be a serious contender to win the division. Next up, they host the Patriots, yikes.
13. St. Louis Rams (4-4) (9)
A very hard-fought game, but fell short in OT against the Vikings. That being said, they now have CHI and @BAL. If they have any chance for a playoff spot, these are must wins.
14. Philadelphia Eagles (4-4) (16)
Eagles remain just a half game back in the division. With MIA, TB, and @DET for their next three, they should remain a threat in the NFC East.
15. Buffalo Bills (4-4) (17)
Bills got Karlos Williams, Sammy Watkins and Tyrod Taylor all back, but lost LeSean McCoy again. Karlos is more than capable of filling in for McCoy but they will need to have all hands of deck as they take on the Jets Thursday Night.
16. Indianapolis Colts (4-5) (19)
Huge win for the Colts at home against the previously undefeated Broncos. They get a much needed BYE too before they head to ATL.
17. New Orleans Saints (4-5) (12)
How the heck do you lose to the Titans at home after three huge wins!? This defense has now gave up over 20 points in every single game this season.
18. Oakland Raiders (4-4) (15)
They had the Steelers on the ropes but Antonio Brown & DeAngelo Williams were just too much. I’m not sure if anyone has looked closely but David Carr has 19 TDs to just 4 INTs this season.
19. Kansas City Chiefs (3-5) (21)
Coming off their BYE, there is a slight glimmer of hope as the AFC wild card is so jammed packed and very injury filled. I doubt KC gets even close, but two weeks ago it seemed impossible.
20. Chicago Bears (3-5) (25)
The Bears are much better than I and many other expected they would be. I really think this Langford fellow is their starting RB next season.
21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5) (20)
If Mike Evans wouldn’t have had the yips on Sunday, they likely would have beaten the Giants as he dropped so many huge play opportunities.
22. Miami Dolphins (3-5) (18)
And Man Campbell’s buzz has ran its course. They just aren’t a very good team and now have to travel to Philly were it seems like the Eagles are trending in the right direction.
23. Baltimore Ravens (2-6) (22)
Their record doesn’t represent how decent this team has actually played. I am curious if Flacco even knows who his WRs are now?
24. Washington Redskins (3-5) (23)
You like that, Kirk Cousins, you like that? That being the Patriots literally having the ball for what felt like the entire game on Sunday.
25. Houston Texans (3-5) (27)
Half game back in the division is the positive, headed to Cincy on MNF is the negative.
26. Dallas Cowboys (2-6) (24)
Another week without Romo, another loss. They are now 3 games back in the win column of the Giants in the division. This is likely a lost season for Dallas.
27. San Diego Chargers (2-7) (26)
I have never seen so many injuries happen to one team. Speaking of a lost season, SD’s is certainly that. Is this Gates last season? Last season for Chargers in SD?
28. San Francisco 49ers (3-6) (30)
Blaine Gabbert!? Wow I can’t believe he won a game. I’m baffled.
29. Tennessee Titans (2-6) (32)
Mariota looked pretty decent this week, and they had one of the shocks of the week winning in NO. Now they get to host undefeated Carolina.
30. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6) (29)
The Jags actually have an easy schedule record wise with @BAL, TEN, SD, @TEN for their next 4. I know the Jags aren’t good, but that scheduled could hurt their chances at a #1-3 draft pick, which they vastly need.
31. Cleveland Browns (2-7) (28)
Just not a good team, and they aren’t fun to watch at all.
32. Detroit Lions (1-7) (32)
Coming off a BYE, they get to travel to Lambeau to take on a Packer team that is incredibly angry after back to back losses. Good Luck.
